Raigarh Hosts Namo Marathon to Promote Fit India, Drug-Free Nation and Self-Reliant Bharat

As part of Seva Pakhwada 2025, Raigarh witnessed an inspiring Namo Marathon today, promoting the themes of Fit India, Self-Reliant Bharat, and a Drug-Free Nation. The event was flagged off by Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary from Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Chowk, with hundreds of youth and citizens participating enthusiastically.

The marathon route spanned key city landmarks including Gandhi Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Ramnivas Talkies Chowk, Shaheed Chowk, and Hemu Kalani Chowk, culminating at Kamla Nehru Garden.

  • Top 10 boys and girls received ₹5,000 each from the Minister’s discretionary fund.

Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary emphasized that participation with dedication and sportsmanship matters more than victory, and that such events foster discipline, health, and national pride. He also highlighted India’s global rise under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the transformative impact of Seva Pakhwada initiatives running from September 17 to October 2.
