Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Unveils Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year 2025 Government Calendar
Raipur, January 14, 2025 — Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai unveiled the Chhattisgarh Government’s Silver Jubilee Year 2025 calendar at the Chief Minister’s residence office on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. The cover page of the calendar features photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, along with the motto ‘Towards Prosperity through Good Governance.’ The annual calendar showcases the positive changes brought about in the lives of Chhattisgarh residents through the state’s ambitious schemes.
Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Lundra MLA Prabodh Minj, and Chief Minister’s Secretary P. Dayanand were present at the unveiling ceremony. Chief Minister Sai emphasized that the calendar, based on the motto ‘Prosperity through Good Governance,’ symbolizes the priorities and achievements of the government. He highlighted the inclusion of the state’s welfare schemes, which aim to lead Chhattisgarh towards new dimensions of prosperity and development. Extending his best wishes for Makar Sankranti, he expressed hope that this year would be a golden year of prosperity and happiness for the state.
QR Code Features Enhance Calendar’s Appeal
The Silver Jubilee Year 2025 calendar includes several new features that make it more attractive. Each month features a QR code that allows viewers to listen to the Chief Minister’s video message based on special occasions of that month. Additionally, new messages and information about the government’s achievements will be continuously updated. The QR code for each month will remain active only for that month. Each page of the calendar also highlights key facts related to Chhattisgarh.
Glimpses of Ambitious Government Schemes in Each Month
The January page of the government calendar features a photograph of devotees who returned from a free pilgrimage to Ayodhya and Kashi under the Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana. This scheme has benefited a large number of people in the state by providing them with the opportunity to visit Lord Ram.
Similarly, the February page showcases the grandeur of Rajim Kumbh Kalp, while the March page depicts the happiness of 7 million mothers and sisters whose lives have been transformed by the Mahatari Vandan Yojana. The April page features a photograph of the changes brought about in the lives of people living in forest areas through tendu leaf collection. The government has increased the remuneration rate for tendu leaf collectors from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 5,500.
The May page highlights the Veer Narayan Singh Shram Ann Yojana, which provides meals to workers for Rs. 5. The June page features school children and mentions the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 in Chhattisgarh, with education being provided in 18 local languages.
The July page provides information about the Krishak Unnati Yojana, which aims to enhance the prosperity of farmers, and features a photograph of a happy farmer from Chhattisgarh. The August page shows the Chief Minister with female security personnel deployed for the country’s safety.
