CM Vishnu Deo Sai Meets State Administrative Trainees, Emphasizes Transparent Governance and Tribal Upliftment in Chhattisgarh
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met with trainee officers of the Chhattisgarh State Administrative Service at his official residence in Raipur today. The delegation included 13 officers from the 2024 batch and one officer from the 2021 batch, marking the conclusion of their induction training.
During the interaction, CM Sai described administrative officers as the backbone of governance, playing a pivotal role in resolving public issues and shaping a better society. He urged them to act not only as efficient administrators but also as conscious citizens, contributing to inclusive development and social harmony.
🏛️ Key Highlights from the Meeting:
- Officers will now serve as Deputy Collectors across districts, gaining hands-on experience in departmental operations
- CM Sai encouraged dedication, integrity, and public service as guiding principles
- Emphasis on timely resolution of revenue cases and simplification through online systems
- Recognition of Chhattisgarh’s rich natural resources, fertile land, and strong power sector as drivers of growth
- Acknowledgment of naxalism’s decline and the central government’s goal to eliminate it by March 31, 2026
🛡️ Strategic Vision:
CM Sai highlighted the role of administrative officers in tribal empowerment, stating that their efforts will be crucial in bringing marginalized communities into the mainstream. He also noted that Chhattisgarh is the first state to establish a Department of Good Governance and Convergence, and has successfully implemented the e-Office system to enhance transparency.

The Chief Minister shared that Chhattisgarh has received investment proposals worth ₹7.5 lakh crore under its new industrial policy, positioning the state as a leading destination for investors.

Director of Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy, Shri T.C. Mahawar, informed the CM that the officers’ induction course, which began on April 7, 2025, has now concluded. The officers expressed gratitude and shared their training experiences with the Chief Minister.
CM Sai concluded by stating, “Even a small initiative by an administrative officer can bring immense relief to citizens. Your role is not just administrative—it’s transformational.”
