CM Pays Tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on His Death Anniversary
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid floral tribute to a portrait of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee today at his official residence office, on the occasion of the leader’s death anniversary. Dr. Mookerjee, India’s first Industries Minister, a celebrated educationist, and the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, was remembered for his unparalleled contributions to nation-building.
Reflecting on his legacy, the Chief Minister said that Dr. Mookerjee devoted every moment of his life to realizing the vision of a united India, social justice, and a self-reliant nation. “He was not only a skilled organizer but also a visionary nationalist leader who wove Indian politics into a strong thread of cultural identity and nationalism,” Shri Sai noted.
He emphasized that through the founding of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Dr. Mookerjee gave rise to an ideology that encouraged the nation to think and act in the interest of its people. “His thoughts continue to guide our democratic consciousness even today,” the CM remarked.
Recalling the life of Dr. Mookerjee as an example of lifelong dedication and sacrifice for the service of the nation, the CM said, “His commitment and high ideals remain a beacon of inspiration for us all.”
Chief Minister Sai reaffirmed his government’s commitment to build a prosperous, strong, and self-reliant India by walking the path shown by Dr. Mookerjee.
