Governor Shri Ramesh Deka Visits Newly Formed Sakti District, Emphasizes Environmental Conservation

Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Ramesh Deka arrived in the newly formed Sakti district today as part of his official visit. Upon reaching the Collector’s office in Jetha, Sakti, he was warmly welcomed by the Collector and SP, who presented him with a bouquet of flowers. The Governor was also accorded a Guard of Honor in a ceremonial gesture.

Tree Plantation Under ‘Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan’
During his visit, Governor Shri Deka participated in a tree plantation drive under the ‘Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan’ (In the Name of Mother Earth) initiative. He planted a Moonshree sapling in the premises of the Collector’s office, symbolizing the importance of environmental conservation. Addressing the gathering, the Governor emphasized the need to protect the environment and urged everyone to plant more trees in their surroundings.

Call for a Greener Future
Governor Shri Deka highlighted the critical role of tree plantation in combating climate change and ensuring a sustainable future. He encouraged citizens, especially the youth, to actively participate in green initiatives and contribute to making the earth greener and healthier.
