Governor Ramen Deka Honors Para Asia Cup Gold Medalist Shrimant Jha
Raipur, January 14, 2025 — Today at Raj Bhavan, Governor Ramen Deka met with Shrimant Jha, the gold medalist in the Para Asia Cup Arm Wrestling. Mr. Jha achieved this feat in the competition held in Mumbai last November. This marks his 49th international medal. Mr. Jha has also been selected to participate in the upcoming Para World Cup in Norway next month.
Governor Deka praised Mr. Jha for his remarkable achievements and extended his best wishes for the future. As a token of encouragement, the Governor presented Mr. Jha with a cheque for Rs. 10,000.
